I have been seeing this girl for about a month, and I want to call her my girlfriend and be exclusive. I am really unsure of any way I can do that and not look like a total geek. Any good ideas or suggestions?!

Send her some red roses with a really cute note telling her that she is special and that you would like to know if she would be interested in being exclusive. Maybe even tell her to be ready at 7PM and that you have a surprise for her, like a really nice dinner at a 4 star restuarant or even better, you cook something yourself. That will almost guarantee a "YES"!!!! Most guys tend NOT to be original when trying to woo women. I think this would be a great gesture and it shows that you put some time into thinking about you two can become an item. Good luck. And cook something she really likes. ;)

well this should help you get her.... :)

Pick a location frequented by a significant number of girls where you feel fairly comfortable, perhaps a place that is conducive to a skill of yours: music, public speaking, or a private intimate conversation.
Scope out the pickings. Pick one or two or three. Keep these in your mind as "potentials".
If you feel you have gotten to know any "Potentials" well enough to ask them out, go ahead and do it, worst thing that could happen is that she says no, and that's her loss. But not you, you've still got the others.
Adapt your appearance. Clean up for a high-class city girl. Dress down for the fun-loving motorbike chick.
Be funny. If you're not naturally funny, don't try too hard around her. Pitch jokes to other people first and see how the jokes do with them. If you get no laughs there, just pray, because it's gonna be hard winning a girl without humor.
Keep up a good posture, walk steadily and smile. Women do not like slouchers. Bad posture gives an air of lack of confidence. Smiling makes a guy more welcoming. A good walking style, (straight back, a hand in the pocket and taking well distanced strides) gives the impression of intelligence.
Talk. Silent guys are annoying. (On the other hand, men who do nothing but talk and never listen are annoying too.)
Look and touch. Looking into a girl's eyes shows respect and interest. A firm handshake, a gentle pat on the back, a light touch of the hand and other subtle gestures allow the girl to feel connected with the guy.
Feel great. The feeling will radiate and affect the lady too.
Don't pretend to be someone you aren't, you may think you will win her round with it but in the end it will backfire. Find a common interest, something you both like. If she likes a band and you don't, lie about it, and listen to them till you change your mind.

Well, after a month you should know that she's probably into you or not. And my guess is that she is. So just be honest about your feelings and ask if she feels the same way, and if she does then go for it. It's not marriage, it's just bf/gf. And when/if she says yes, then you need to tell her your expectations of what it means to be exclusive. She will more than likely respect that from you. Good Luck!!

Just put it out there that you want to be exclusive. See what she has to say. If she is not looking for an exclusive relationship then you’ll know this person is not a true fit and time to fine someone who will meet your needs. You’ll be happier and intern able to make your girl happy. Never settle.

See how she feels about it first, you never know she could feel the same way about you, she could probably be freaking out on whether or not to call you her boyfriend, just ask her and then if she likes the idea then you guys can be boyfriend and girlfriend, GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First you need to let her know. And ask her if she agrees, with your idea. Express yourself, let her know how you feel and think and dont worry about looking as a fool. You have to take risks, and if she doesnt aprecciate it then shes not the one. But I think she will be happy and agree with you. Dont think too much just do it. Good Luck.

Ask her. When I met my b/f he was announcing it to everyone that I was his g/f. I wasn't sure if I wanted to be his g/f. So I was telling him and everyone else that it wasn't official yet. After about a week of telling everyone he finally asked me. Well heck I was obligated by then. Now that I think about it......... it was pretty funny.
Make it official and ask her!

Good luck.

Just ask her, flat out, if she wants to be official. If she says yes, then feel free, call her your girlfriend. Its not geeky - its rather impressive to other men and to other women. :)

You can;t unless you both have decided to make it official. cuz once this guy did that to me and my friends got mad because they thought i didn't tell them... so its better to make it like a mutual decision before telling people without her knowing. ask her out!
