Hello boys!!! I'm an Italian student and I would like to move to California to learn in a better way the english language!
My dream is to stay in Arroyo Grande, a town near S.L.O.
Does anyone know what's the life like in Arroyo Grande?
What are the business possibilities in this town?

I grew up about forty miles SE of Arroyo Grande. It is part of a group of smaller communities called Five Cities. It is fairly liberal and very close to the beach. It isn't too hot there very much and it is slightly foggy or overcast MOST of the time. It is a tourist area, so many business oppurtunities are related to that industry. Hotels and motels do well there as do Italian resturants. Life is fairly kicked back, and people are pretty friendly. People aren't as attractive as one might guess, but they tend to make up for it in generosity. Anywhere you go in America, you will face discrimination until you have mastered the english language. But as far as tolerance goes, that area has been one of the most tolerant communities I've been in. I hope that helps. Feel free to contact me through Answers if you have more questions.

Life in California must be good. I know a lot of people go there. It said there is a lot of homosexual guys... so there is beauty. There is also a fault and earthquake coming in the near future...

i live in California and i love it. here you can get all different kinds of jobs and your English will improve too.by the way right now I'm listening to Tiziano Ferro's no me lo puedo explicar. i guess that's a good sign.

i live like a 2 minute drive from AG (i live in pismo beach) and AG is not a city where alot of businesses are hot...its just has alot of restaurants, places that sells cars...i guess it really depends on what business youre in.

I live in California and its awesome i don't know who doesn't like it and there are great jobs
