Eat lots of things have have little or no fat.

Rice cakes, pretzels, fresh veggies, fruit.

Cut way down of fats and oils.

Cut way back on meat, and use grains, legumes, nuts and seeds for protein, and small amounts of cheese (and stick with less fatty cheeses).

I lost a lot, yet ate five meals a day, and snacked in between, all by avoiding fats and oils.

Every day have a little of something naughty (a couple of cookies, things like that), and once a week eat whatever you want.

The rest of the time, cut out fats and oils where you can (and still enjoy your food).

Drink a lot of water and healthful juices (stay away from sodas).

Don't go hungry, that will just make you binge (and is unpleasant).

Also, when you don't eat much, your body thinks you're in a starvation situation and conserves.

Eat, eat, eat.

Just keep it healthy.

And walk, dance, do fun physical things.

Well first go to your doctor and tell her or him that you are constantly hungry. He or she will check to see if you have a condition or a worm (but if you had a worm you wouldnt need to lose 40 pounds so...). What I personally suggest is that you start every day with a cup of coffee or tea (something caffeinated) and then go for a 30 to 45 minute walk. This combination gets your metabolism up real high right at the beginning of your day, and thats part one of what you'll need to do to lose the pounds. Part two is that you need to start keeping healthy foods around to snack on, and try as hard as you can to avoid the really bad foods like sweets and fried foods. Keep a fruit bowl stocked with apples, bananas, oranges, pears, figs, grapes, whatever fruit you like to eat, they're ALL good for you, because they're natural sugars that your body has to work harder to process and can't slap on your sides as easily as processed sugars. If you're serious about this then you should do yourself the favor of getting a heart rate monitor. Every morning when you go out for that walk, you want to get your heart rate up to 70-80% of your maximum heart rate, no more, no less. Your target heart rate is 220 minus your age. Lets say your 30, then your target heart rate is 190, and your ideal work walking heart rate is 190 x .75 = 142.5. If you're 40 pounds overweight then it won't be hard to get your heart rate up to that point, a brisk walk with a cup of coffee should do the trick. That is all the fat burning work out you need, coupled with an improved diet, you'll be looking better within a month, and feeling great the first day. Good luck, I have faith in you. Happy new year!

Do you know the difference between true hunger, mouth hunger (you really just want to be chewing on something), and psychological hunger? That's important, and can sabotage any diet. Unless you've got some significant nutritional deficiency in your diet, you shouldn't be hungry all the time :-)

I'm not a big advocates of "diets" in general, but Weight Watchers does a pretty good job of teaching you to eat well and supporting you as you learn to change how you think about food. Just - try not to get too obsessive about it, ok? Your life is not about the number on the scale.

I had trouble eating enough to get my required number of "points" per day when I was on the WW plan a few years ago, but I'm really bad about remembering to eat.

Good luck!

I have been working really hard to get a sexy body. I go to the gym every day, watch what I eat, but still could not get the body I wanted. That was until I found this body cleansing stuff. I was able to get the sexy body I wanted in 9 days. I did a 9 day cleanse and lost 10 pounds and 15 inches! This was GREAT! I had been working so hard for over a year to get this, and this program gave me what I wanted in 9 days. I found out that many body builders use this to get ready for competitions because the protein in the shakes builds muscle and the cleanse helps to get rid of the toxins stored in the fat cells. When the toxins are removed, the fat cells shrink and you definitely can tell in the way your clothes fit! I recommend this product for anyone wanting to get a better looking body quickly. I found out about it at this toll free number 1-877-587-4647. It is not a cheap program, but it is worth it! You can also get it at this website

I dropped all sugar from my diet and the cravings stopped. I'm a sugar junky - with all the Splenda and Diabetic cookies, cakes and candies out now - it was very very easy!

With excercise I lost 52 pounds.
