Inoshishi-doshi or, more traditionally, i-doshi. In kanji it's 亥年. 猪 is a live (or once-live) boar.

That is cute Lydia. If it is Chinese why do you say "Year of the Boar" instead of the Chinese?
So, saying it in Japanese is just as valid as saying it in English, is it not?
I was born in the year of the Boar.

Why do you want to say "year of the boar" when in fact it's the "year of the pig". Is it because you think that pigs aren't cool enough or something?
