As the question implies, many Muslims believe that Jesus was a mere human prophet. By contrast, Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians who teach that Jesus Christ was and is divine and of the same nature as God.

Jehovah's Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe!

Jehovah's Witnesses love and respect and honor Christ. But Jehovah's Witnesses recognize the bible truth that Jesus the Son is distinct from and not equal to God the Father (see Scriptures below).

As mentioned above, Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the Scriptures quite plainly demonstrate that Jesus and the Almighty are separate distinct persons, and the Almighty created Jesus as His firstborn son.

(Colossians 1:15) the firstborn of all creation

(Mark 10:18) Jesus said to him: 'Why do you call me good? Nobody is good, except one, God.

(Revelation 3:14) the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God

(Philippians 2:5-6) Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing in God's form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God

(John 8:42) Neither have I come of my own initiative at all, but that One sent me forth

(John 12:49) I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment as to what to tell and what to speak

(John 14:28) I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am

(1 Corinthians 15:28) But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him

(Matthew 20:23) this sitting down at my right hand and at my left is not mine to give, but it belongs to those for whom it has been prepared by my Father

(1 Corinthians 11:3) I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; ...in turn the head of the Christ is God

(John 20:17) I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.

(Deuteronomy 6:4) Jehovah our God is one Jehovah

(1 Corinthians 8:4-6) There is no God but one. For even though there are those who are called "gods," whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many "gods" and many "lords," there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him

Thanks again for an opportunity to share what the bible actually says about the distinct persons of Jesus Christ the Son and Jehovah God the Father!

Friend, I agreed that Mohammed was not a prophet If anything he was a false prophet, But I also disagree with you when you say Jesus was the last Prophet. Turn to Ephesians 4:11-16 & read it, you can also find this in 1st Corinthians also,11: And he gave some Apostles, Some Prophets, Some Evangelists, & some Pastors & some teachers, for what & how long, To perfect a Bride at the end-time & until we all (The Bride) come into the Unity of the faith & of the knowledge of the Son of God. There are prophets today, People can't see that because they have closed their eyes to truth, But I believe it 100%

Jesus was not aprophet, but the son of God or God in the form of man on earth. Mohammed is the prophet of Allah, Allah being another name for what we recognize as God. So Mohammed could be someone that we would recognize as a prophet.

Different cultures and countries use different names for what we all theorize about. And there are many different version and translations of the Bible, no can really say for a fact. If you look at it as a book of lessons and morals, and accept it in that context, think outside the box, non-denominational. It's simply meant to be a good book. Don't take it literally, don't take it factually, don't take it as an accurate version of history.

By the way, I don't believe there is a reference to "Mohammed" in the Bible, but who knows what name he is given in the Bible?

The Islamic definition of a Prophet is a individual who gets direct Revelation from GOD. So David/Dawud is a Prophet even nonetheless now no longer consistent with to Christianity! Muhammad (peace and reward of God be upon him) reported hat the Muslims could triumph over Constantinople and Syria which got here approximately in 1453 and 642. that have been interests after his loss of life. so as that fits your definition. The bible like the Torah is a piece of books that God despatched to mankind and the final e-e book was the Quran. So in all possibility you will ought to learn the terrific testomony, the Quran.

I think you are quite right in this matter. A prophet is a person who "speaks for God", His spokesman or messenger, "a sent one"
Jesus is also called the Word of God, both in the Bible and the Quran. He says in John 17 that He has done what His Father sent Him to do by coming to this earth, that is to magnify Him.
To magnify means to show, or explain completely. He came to show us or explain to us clearly how God is.
He also claimed to be The Alpha and the Omega, which are the first and last letter of the Greek Alphabet or Abjad Yunani. He was the first one to prophecy in the Garden of Eden and the last one in the book of Revelation who prophecied, "Behold I come quickly and my reward is with Me!.

And since He is still alive today, so He is till prophecying through His servants who live until the end of time.
Joel prophecied in Joel 2:28,29 that at the end of time many will prophecy in His name. So anybody who is prophecying now, if he or she is not a false prophet, is only prophecying for Him, only a mouthpiece for Jesus who is the Word and also called the First and The Last. He is the Everlasting Prophet, compared to all other prophets that are only temporary for as long as they live.
Most of them are dead and waiting for resurrection at His second coming, while the false prophets will be resurrected to receive punishment and annihilation or Death, which is the second death.

I don't understand how either could be the last prophet. For God is still revealing his will and truth into the hearts of man today, I think more so than at any time in history. It appears that we do not need prophets, as known in past times, for we can receive the will of and word of God directly into our own hearts.we can now go directly to God through Christ consciousness within our own hearts. God imparted directly to me; "The mind is not for thinking, the mind is for receiving thought." (Directly from him)

John 14:16
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

guess who is the another is?

and if you claim it's the holyspirit, then how can the holyspirit testify of Jesus? it's a prophet who will testify of Jesus.

John 15:26
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me

Each of the Messengers of God can say they are the alpha and omega with accuracy as they speak to humanity at the behest of God and through the Holy Spirit. They receive the full bounty of the Holy Spirit while we ordinary humans receive only a ray of that Spirit.

I say everybody is all fired up about something personnel to people, their region. It is not my nor your business to mocking others beliefs. The only reason for this is giant propaganda campaign engineered at the end of cold war to justify huge military spending. All of a sudden America just switched Muslim or Islamic Extremist where the word Russia used to apply. The press fell lock step in line of course.
