It means you like him. Ever heard of the phrase 'You are the man/woman of my dreams'? Yeah, you're obsessed about him. Talk with him, (but not about the dream) and then ask him out on a date. You really like him if you constantly have that dream.

Dreams are tricky.

If you want a simple answer, just forget about it. It could just be your brain rebooting itself after a long day.

If you want a more complex answer...

Romance in a dream can simply be a metaphor for a strong feeling of trust between two people. However, based on what he says in the dream, it may be that you are feeling pressured by him into feeling something. The fact that you wake up before you have an opportunity to answer is likely because you don't have an answer.

My advice, if you do trust him, is to tell him about the dream, and test his reaction. Otherwise, there really is no point in freaking out about it.
