That's not something that you act "polite" about.

If I saw a roach crawling out of a purse, I would treat it exactly as I would a spider, an ant, or any other bug -

I would go after it with a balled up newspaper and feel pleased with myself for having 'saved' her from putting her hand into her purse while that terrible thing was in there!!

No polite way! This is not a time for manners. That's trifling and a health hazard for people around her. If it were me, the response would be an involuntary scream and "Oh my God! There are roaches crawling out of your purse!".

"Excuse me, but there is an unsightly creature escaping from your purse. I don't believe it belongs there. You may wish to investigate the situation immediately."

The polite way to do it would be to tell it to her with no one else around. You want her to know but you dont want it to be an embarassing situation.
