Thanks for all your answers - Well, the proper ones anyway. Jeez, does anyone actually READ these questions or OBSERVATIONS before jumping in? I mean, it was not a serious point, nor a dig at labs, nor an insult to some people...

It was purely an Observation, a silly thought, a brief moment of curiosity.

Thank you tho, for those that expalined the yellow/black ratio compared to choccys, and thanks to those who have experienced the same crazy-canine.

But for those that said "how dare you bad mouth my dog", and "did you not insist on both sets of papers", I must wonder; who is more in need of the white canvas jacket that ties at the back...the dog, or the ones who take life TOO damn serious.

Regards to all...

I in simple terms retired a girl chocolate lab. She is in simple terms approximately 10 and he or she continues to be loopy. She replaced right into a very large bomb detection canines and worked for hours on end, without ever complaining. Even now, on the ag of 10, she hates being left at the back of, and could enable me be attentive to it, daily. I nonetheless take her to artwork approximately as quickly as a week, just to make her experience good. She is an outstanding canines and that i'm very venerated to have experienced and dealt with her for the previous 8 years. So, i think of the guy with the remark approximately chocolate labs ought to have a factor. yet, I nonetheless love her, loopy and all, and that i could take 10 greater in simple terms like her if i ought to.

Did not see the last topic but i got a black lab and he makes me laff! but i hear the browns are crazy, if you ask me a dog takes on the caractoristicks of the owners in some way just like a child would so you gotta look at yourself a little un order to understand a dog fully.

I've been avoiding the dog section - too aggravating - and now I missed something GOOD!
Anyway - sometimes I wonder if "chocolate labs" are more closely related to brillo butted Chesapeakes than anyone wants to admit???
Thanks for the laugh - and give your dog a big hug and ear scratch from the nasty Chesapeake.

and i thought i was the only one to notice! lol
I know a few labs and the worst are the chocolate. Growling, teeth showing, snapping unprovoked....

I would like to say that they are probably not all like this but the blacks and goldens that i have met do tend to be more 'balanced' than the Brown.

Any nut job that has owned a Lab knows what you are talking about and your right people don't read questions well enough or they have tunnel vision and focus on bits and pieces.

Try owning Border Collies! LOL! They are definitely not a breed for everyone, and a lot of them could seriously use a nice white jacket. LOL! I love them to pieces though!

I have a black lab and I think he too can be institutionalized. No, but he is a sweetie. His issue is he still thinks he is a 8 week old pup. LOL.

It's not just chocolates, either. I've had a black and a yellow, and they're loonies. I love them to pieces anyway.
