I will be fasting for health purposes. No, this is not for my weight. I am asking for advise from people who have done this before. please no warnings from people who really dont know anything about fasting.

Going on a water only fast releases toxins too quickly from your body and you will get headaches and might pass out. Start with eating veggies for 2 days, then juices for 1 day , then water fast. It is better this way then a sudden loss of all substance. You will hit low phases and when your body is cleansed you will feel great. Slowly introduce juices and lightly cooked veggies back into your diet. Starting back on regular food right away will jeopardize the results of the fast.
Fasing should make you more aware of the food you put into your body too.
