Well, that depends...

Are you dumping her because she's changed after she got pregnant? Those are just hormones.

Are you planning on being there for her during her pregnancy? If the answer is no, then yes, they will see you in a bad light.

Did the two of you decide to have this child together? If so, then that's a yes.

Why are you dumping her?

Evil is not the word I would use. I prefer to say inappropriate.

However, a saving grace to "dumping" her would be your sincere and honest intention to support your child.

Most men would break with their significant other in a last ditch effort to shirk responsibility. If that is your motivation to leave her, then shame on you.

However, if you really have no serious feelings for her, then breaking things off is just a bit more stressful and challenging since you two will forever be bound by the responsibilities of raising this child.

Good luck in your situation and whatever you decide to do I hope it involves being a good father.

If she's pregnant with your child? Yes, that would be bad. If you made the baby, you have a responsibility to take care of the child. The right thing to do is marry the mother, but if you don't do that, you should at least man up and pay child support and make sure that she's taken care of.

yes, it would be evil! she needs you now, and since you got her pregnant, the baby is half your responsibility. just because you don't actually have to carry the baby in your body doesn't mean its not as much your responsibility as it is hers. now, since you made this choice along with her, you cannot abandon her, you have to help her & support her. your a father now and tehre is notheing that can change that. so yes, you would be an asshole if you just dumped her now, after all it is like killing half the baby.

Are you the father? Or just a nice guy/gal that's trying to be helpful? If you're not directly responsible and the relationship isn't working, you're not doing anyone a favor by staying. Once the baby (or babies??) comes, it's just going to be one-person-more challenging. If you are the dad either get some counselling as a familyor make provisions to care for YOUR offspring. Either way, remember that it's not the baby's fault...

If you don't love her, then you should be honest with her. However, assuming you're the father, and you're responsible at all, you'll step up and be a loving parent to the child. Many people who get pregnant outside of marriage don't get married and are able to maintain a civil relationship for the benefit of the child.

Depends on if you've been leading her on or not. why would you get her pregnant if you weren't serious? If you aren't happy, leave her. But be prepared to pay medical expenses related to the delivery and child support for the next 18 years. maybe next time you should be a little more careful with where you choose to spread your seed

Pretty much yeah because it appears to other people that you dumped her becuase you (?) got her pregnant and don't want the kid. Plus pregnancy is a really stressful time, and you're leaving her in her most depending state.

YES!!!!!!!!!

Even if you dump her, you still owe your child your support for the rest of his life. So, get a good job and live up to your responsibilities. It's not his fault you chose to conceive him.

if she had an abortion to get even with you, yeah you would be evenly at fault for the death of the child. But the child will be paying for both of your bad choices, with his very life!
