I hope you meant in her TOY, not her TOE! Anyway, Dogs generally really like peanut butter. If you fill a toy, such as a Kong with peanut butter the dog will lick and chew the toy to get the peanut butter out. It's a good way to keep the dog busy for awhile. You can also fill the toy then freeze it for a couple of hours, this will make it last even longer. You should also use natural peanut butter(the kind with the oil on top) because typical peanut butter has too much sugar in it for dogs. Nutritionally, peanut butter is a good source of protein.

Dogs like peanut butter, and it's sticky, so it takes them a while to get it all down. It's also nutritious, and a nice healthy snack. (get sugar free)

I don't think it's going to be that helpful with her biting problem, though, unless there's some other training being done at the same time. You'll need to praise her like she just saved the world for chewing on the toy, and tell her "NO!" and grab her nose for trying to chew on people.

The peanut butter toy may be a good behavior substitution, but you need to know how to do it.

if this is a young dog and it seems like the biting is playful not aggressive (playful doesn't mean it doesn't hurt, but does she seem angry and defensive, or just too excited and playing rough?). excited play biting is called mouthing, and the best way to stop it is when the dog nips, say OUCH!! turn your back and ignore her for about a minute. repeat this process anytime her teeth touch your skin. she'll get the picture that biting equals playtime ending and her playmate leaving. peanut butter is good for stuffing empty kongs or bones, dogs love it. the only thing to keep in mind is that it is very high in calories, so adjust feeding accordingly!

Yup its true. Peanut butter is a food that dogs love!!! Just like meat. Just put it is her toe. Dogs love it and its harmless for them they can eat it and eat it and nothing can happen its perfectly healthy. Don' worry. U can give it to her as a special treat. And its funny when they eat it. It gets stuck to the roof of the mouth and they have to lick it off of there mouth. OMG so funnie. Try it. Okaiii? Ur dog will love it and u'll make her very happi. :)

No. Natural unsalted peanut butter can be a great treat for a dog, but it won't cure them of biting. You can buy a "Kong", put peanut butter in it, and freeze it and it will keep the dog occupied for awhile. However, if your dog is biting people, she needs training classes ASAP.

I don't know about that, but here's a great trick which will occupy your furry friend for hours!!!!

Take a spoonful or so of peanut butter and, using your finger, smear it on the inside roof of his mouth. Have a video camera handy, because this can ge HILARIOUS!

lol I think thats just an old wives tail. Tell her No when she does bite and then give her a toy and when she chews on that praise her.
