We have tried '0000' but still nothing works. She lives on her own and relies on the TV for company. Please can someone help by posting some instructions please? The screen just shows blue with 'child lock on - - - - ' We have tried to telephone the helpline, but they are busy all the time and we cannot get through. Help urgently required Please.

Problem solved thanks to a helpful person at Your Gumtree.com who suggested I try '1234' and it worked! Many thanks to all who sent answers

Try calling around to different stores who sell that product or brand. Maybe someone there can help you or you can get another copy of the instructions from them or they can tell you where to request another instruction book. Good Luck!

The TV should have a menu button on it and go from there. If not, download from the manufactures web site the manual. Last resort, unplug the TV for a few minutes(up to an hour) and it should reset the memory.

Are you sure you aren't a child trying to unlock a TV your parents locked? Just checking. Try looking it up on their website.
