you are going to have to get tough. These guys in wells are pretty sly but you can beat him at his own game. Go down in the well with him and sit there without loition yourself. Pretty soon the combination of the two of you without loition will get to be difficult to stand but hold firm - let this guy know who's boss. When he finally breaks down (and he will) give him a double dose of loition and tell him that if he refuses again you won't be so nice the next time. I guarantee he will be a loition accepting guy in a well before you know it.

If spraying him with a water hose and saying "it puts the lotion on the skin or else it gets the hose again" doesn't work then sing him this song:
