Just wait it out - there's not much you can do. But keep the talking to a minimum and don't raise your voice.

Like the last person said, keep the talking to a minimum, keep doing what your doing. It is mostly a thing that you have to wait out.
Also, I dont know if this really works or not, But at some music stores, I have seen sprays that is suposed to make your voice sound smooth. one of those might help you, but I really dont know for sure.
Also, Take some sudafed. It will clear out your nose and throat, if it's congestion.
Hope this helps.

I'm a medical researcher. It is widely agreed among physicians and medical paraprofessionals, that initial diagnosis, mostly by using a typical acid reflux symptoms questionnaire, is necessary to ensure the most effective and quick treatment for this condition. Approx 70% of the acid reflux diagnostics that are based on the presence of typical symptoms are accurate. Since acid reflux, also called GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease), can cause patients a great deal of discomfort and result in severe complications, it is highly important to know how to identify its symptoms in order to quickly diagnose and treat it.
If you know you have acid reflux you can try this natural program http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=568
I hope it helps

Speaking from experience, honey, I would take garlic. Take garlic in its purest form. (First, follow up with drug/herb interactions). I do it all the time whenever there's threat of an oncoming cold/flu. Garlic is a known fungicide/bacteriacide/viruside. I used it for all yeast infections and they clear up in two days. I haven't gone to the doctor with any of these respiratory problems or Candida problems since I discovered garlic five years ago. Though, everyone is different and different remedies work for different ppl, one needs to have an open mind. Try it, you may be surprised with its effects. If symptoms get worse, follow up with your doctor.
Good luck and peace!

You're doing all you can. The voice needs rest just like the rest of the body during an illness. Just allow it to come back naturally and don't over-strain it.

You may have GERD, an ENT doctor can look at your vocal cord and tell if it's acid reflux.

Don't stress your vocal cords by talking, and continue with the other things you are doing.

Rest your vocal cords is the best advice for that. Lubrication is the second thing. Water, decaf drinks, etc.
