Much of the world thinks in simplistic terms. Like in America, where most Americans believe that removing Islamic religious expression would be an automatic slippery slope that ends "all religious expression".

This is all stupidity. We can ban a religion which disproportionately gives rise to religious violence without banning all religion. All we need to do is narrowly tailor the law to the destructive core of Islam and leave it there.

Why not ban Islam? We already have lost some freedoms, so the "freedom" argument is ridiculous when you consider the fact that we dont have to lose any of our freedoms at all if we ban Islam.

A Muslim however will lose his freedom of religion, thats true, but now we are arguing over who should lose freedoms. Keep in mind, we already have lost them and have no other reasonable choices.

You disagree? Then I hope its out of massive love for Islam because you spend billions of terror prevention tax dollars defending their religious expression.

I think for the good of our country we should ban Islamic freedoms here in the United States. I say if Muslims want to practice the hate and violence of their beliefs then let them do so in their own countries. A religion that teaches terror and death isn't one that any country should tolerate or nourish in any way, shape or form. My fiance is originally form Iran, and he knows first hand what Muslims will do to a country if let run wild and free. He lost his home, his family and a way of life that he will never see again. I think all of us as Americans need to open our eyes and see what Islam is doing to our country right under our noses, they are a sleeping giant who will awaken one day and bring with it a reign of terror like we have never seen before. More people should speak out and get angry over our own government making us as Americans feel politically incorrect for wanting to deny Muslims the same rights we enjoy every day, but it has to start somewhere, so it might as well be at home. Peace.

There are laws against violence. There are not laws against religion. It's up to the individual to decide whether they choose to follow the laws or not, and as such, punishment should be individual. The entire religion has not declared war on the US; on the contrary, most Muslims are quite firmly set against it.

If we're going to ban religions because of wackos, I think I'm rather less worried about those who show open violence and can be punished than the insidious, sneaky types like Pat Robertson.

I say F**K islam in the *** with a camel dick! Ban it world wide not just the US. Like you said, we have lost a lot of our rights in this country because of other religions! Can't say Merry X-mas to customers have to say happy holidays because it may be offensive to someone. Give me a f**kin break! Can't have xmas lights in the work place either. We've been celebrating xmas for over 200 years in this country, if you dont like it get the f**k out! If we went over to there country and said islam is evil and women should have equal rights they'd behead us! One more example muslim cab drivers refusing rides to costumers that are drunk or have a seeing eye dog with them because its against there religion! What bullshit! I'm offended by the offended and by their stupidity and selfishness!

Then you better ban Christianity too because its the single most violent religion in recorded history.

Don't be ridiculous. You either learn to accept all religions or you don't accept any.

I seek to limit the freedoms of no man. My distaste for Christianity in America stems from my beliefs in the freedom of the individual. How does taking away that freedom from someone else improve my situation? It doesn't. I may not agree with what you do in your house, but it's your house, not mine, so I have no right to tell you what to do in it.

can we ban christianity too?
PLEASE?

Two questions for you:

what religion was timothy mcveigh?
what religion is the people who have limited our freedoms?

seriously your premise is wrong:
the sacrifice of freedom and waste of money and life is because of the fight against islam, not preserving it.

I dont think throwing every moslem out of the US would stop any of the foreign wars

No I do not. I also am not willing to sacrifice those things out of love for Christianity. Funny thing is we are being asked to do that constantly, however I have never been asked to sacrifice those things to preserve Islam.
