i know nobody knows the day nor the hour and all that, but everybody has their own opinion on whether it will happen before the tribulation (pre-tribulation), after the tribulation(post-tribulation), in the middle of the tribulation, etc. my grandpa believes im pan-tribulation (it will all pan out in the end). but does anybody really know if it's gonna happen before, after or during?

Pre Trib is the most comman belief in main line christian circles. Some scriptures indicate God would not let us suffer. Mid trib also has some indications because of scripture where Christ said "if those days had not been cut short no flesh would survive." A Post trib is unlikly but possible since Revelation speaks of some christians must decide whether to take the mark of the beast or be beheaded. I want to believe in a Pre trib and think there is enough scripture to show God will save me from all of the trib. But grandpa makes a good point. Trust God to know what is best.

Never, it is not written in God's Word.

There are two tribulations.
1) Satan's tribulation - peace and prosperity
2) Lord's tribulation - day of vengeance

Wait on the trumps.
The 6th trump could happen any time now 2007-2014.
The 7th trump is when Christ returns.

This is the generation of the fig tree.

Mar 13:28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
Mar 13:29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
Mar 13:30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.

I believe, that we will be raptured, those that are children of God, before the tribulation begins. I beleive there is more evidence in the bible, to support this, but I have not exhausted my study on it either. I believe, that there will be a time for people to still accept Christ, as things unfold and people will become christians. They may be martyred, but what will that matter compared to the eternity they will spend either with, or without God. The rapture, even if it is post tribulation, will be in the ultimate control of God, and he is known to protect his people during big world events, if you look into the past. He is not obligated though, and if he doesn't, it is only for a bigger purpose. Those that are martyred during this time, will have a greater reward, one of which we cannot begin to comprehend.

The Bible teaches the exact opposite of the rapture.

"For the upright are the ones that will reside in the earth, and the blameless are the ones that will be left over in it. As regards the wicked, they will be cut off from the very earth; and as for the treacherous, they will be torn away from it." - Proverbs 2:21, 22.

There will not be a rapture in the sense that most christians today think it will occur. Jesus said his comming will be "just as in the days of Noah". Nobody noticed until it was too late.

The rapture isn't in the Bible. it's another example of religious dogma created to try to validate belief in the bible. it, like the Bible is fiction.
But if it does happen, it couldn't come any sooner. One year after all you self-righteous Christians leave, we would have cured all disease, solved world hunger, cleaned the environment, colonized Mars, have truly renewable energy, and I'd have my flying car that runs off of static electricity.
