You can find some great products @ www.renefurtereronline.com
They have the best products and prices on the Internet.
You have several options to select for the type of problem you have.
All dandruff is different from one another. Some are oil based or dry based. Some caused from the wrong shampoo or the change in the weather.
You could also try the complex 5 on that site and it cleans you head in 20 min of all dandruff.

Also you can try a Tea tree shampoo or even pure tea tree oil to your scalp and massage it in and leave it for about 10 to 20 min.
Rinse, shampoo a few times and if you condition then your scalp should be clean. If it continues you can do a treatment a week.
If in between it continue you can use one the shampoo's on the website for www.renefurtereronline.com and figure out what problem you have.

You can also see a Dr. if your problem is serious sometimes a RX shampoo may be needed.
I could suggest more but these are the most frequent problems.
Good luck

You have extremely DRY scalp, which is why you are plagued with dandruff; there is nothing funny about your condition. I would make an appointment with a dermatologist immediately, because that clearly is going to be the best solution to your permanent problem. In the interim, get some SEABREEZE (THE humongous industrial size, it's like a gallon ), they sell it at Sally Beauty Supply Stores all over the US. Go ahead and give yourself a thorough scalp massage with it prior to washing your hair; and do this every time or every other time that your do wash your hair for at least the next two or three times; it will invigorate your scalp. It will help "slough" off these dead and dry cells, and improve, at least, cosmetically the appearance, and general discomfort of your condition,, because I know you musn't be feeling real confident or comfortable either.

As far as shampoos go, Selsun Blue and Nizoral are what most people would go with. I have used both in the past. I actually do like Head and Shoulders too. However, when your dandruff is in the severe stages, I think you may need something a bit stronger, so give the Nizoral a try. Once you get it under control, you can even use a little more gentle one like Pantene or something. But do make sure to still baby and condition your hair; and go especially easy on styling gels, and sprays (hair sprays) and things like that. The reason is because a lot of those contain alcohol, which dries out the cuticle, and when it flakes, it just gives off the appearance of additional dandruff and flaking. Good luck.

If you've used dandruff shampoo and it's not working you should see a dermatologist. You might have psoriasis or some other skin condition that a prescription shampoo can take care of. The more you wash it the worse your dandruff will be if you aren't using the right shampoo, so washing over and over again with an over the counter shampoo could make your problem worse.

there are two types:
you could have a really dry scalp.. which means you would want head and shoulders or any moisturizing shampoo or conditioner

orr.. you you too much conditioner and its almost like build up, where you know you scalp isnt dry but dandruff is still there

make sure you use proper amounts and maybe ones that say that they wont leave "build up" personally i think the dove ones are great

drinking more water will help too

this may sound silly but it depends on the climate you live in, I had dandruff, dry skin etc till I moved from the north to the south and now i AM NOT BOTHERED WITH EITHER so the weather could be the issue. Use a good shampoo like Pantene and see what that does

Use head and shoulders and try not to wash it every day. Washing it too often drys the scalp out. Some people have oily scalps and need to wash their hair every day and others have dry scalp and wash it every couple of days.
