As a "so-called Christian," as you so eloquently put it, I can only answer for myself.

If Jesus were to come to me today, in the flesh, I would honestly say that He'd be a bit dissapointed in the life I've lead since becoming a Christian, and I would be a lot more than ashamed to see His face. HOWEVER, I also know that He would forgive me, as He knows that I am an imperfect human being, and that is why He came to Earth in the first place; to build a bridge between God the Father and sinful man, as He was sinless Himself.

We {true} Christians aren't perfect, and we don't pretend to be. But we are forgiven by the belief and the promise of the grace of Jesus Christ.

Well Jesus Christ was just a bloke who talked alot and the rest is just a big made up story. Why doesn't the world wake up to the fact that religion is the product of powerful men trying to conquer the weak by scaring the s**t out of them. Humanity is very sick in the head and the true religious message is that we should all be kind to each other, peace and all that. If JC was alive he would be just like all the other peace loving dudes in the world not the son of god.

Well, I think as a Christian we are supposed to make Christ our example and strive to follow in his footsteps. Unfortunately, many take the name but don't walk the walk. Not that any of us are perfect, I am far far from perfect, but I think if we call ourselves a Christian, we need to try and act with love and a good heart, instead of acting out of hate and anger. We should set an example so that Christs love shows in us, not make the unsaved think bad of Christ because of the way we act.

He would probably wonder why some call themselves christian and do not preach the kingdom of God from house to house.

When Jesus was on earth all he did was preach. The only people that preach about God's kingdom are Jehovah's Witnesses.

That they are sort of on the right track...but don't have the completeness of the gospel. They could be referred to as spirits who will inhabit the Terrestrial kingdom...
"These are they who receive of the presence of the Son, but not of the fulness of the Father."
That is what I believe....
I am sure Christ would still love them.

Same as he thought of the Jews who opposed the Revelation in His day.

God loves us all regardless of the mistakes we make. He will try to gently correct us, however and we will be held responsible for the harm we've done here on earth.

Being God, would this surprise him? I think he'd feel the same way as he does when humans Get It Wrong in any of the other ways.
