I would like to know what would i need and now would I install my ipod nano on my car and it does not have a tape player.

wireless reciever, go to best buy or circuit city and get the wirless fm transmitter, you plug it in headphones input and set yr fm radio to the wireless transmittr station, then bammm you listnin to yr ipod

It's not wireless.
It feeds your audio signal from a headphone jack ( or RCA cables) by FM modulation, directly into the antenna input on your radio bypassing the antenna when on, allowing the radio to work as normal when off. It comes with an On/Off switch that can used or it can be replaced with a relay powered by the remote wire from the radio.
This IS the answer. Totally versatile.
