Magic? You cannot remove them without surgery. It's a minor procedure that a dermatologist or surgeon can do in about 5 minutes under local anesthesia.

If the moles are changing at all, or are irregular in size or shape, they should be looked at by a pathologist for signs of malignancy.

No.

But it's a very easy and quick procedure. I had 3 moles removed - one of them large - all at the same session earlier on this year.

I had it done privately. The total cost was £300. I went for a consultation first, then on another day went for the treatment. Local anaesthetic, then they were cut out. Didn't hurt a bit and the whole thing took less than 15 mins. I left with discreet bits of tape over them. They had pretty well healed in a couple of weeks, and now i have just three little dips where they were.

I had them removed cos i didnt like them, not for any other reason.

I have had two moles removed in the past few years. I was told as a young girl to avoid the sun because I was more at risk for skin cancer. There unfortunately is not a way to remove them without surgery;however, it might be a good idea to have them removed if there is a change in color or shape.

I have had some moles removed just by going to the dermatologist. She simply numbed the area and razored them off. And if they are moles that are abnormal ( strange coloration, shape, size), insurance will cover their removal. The little bitty scar looks much better than the huge thing I had on my neck.

My friend had a large mole on her back which she went to the GP to sort out. It's not major surgery and is not an overnight stay in the hospital job.You wouldn't know it had been there now.

No. I had one removed 4 weeks ago. It was a local anaesthetic and they kind of shaved it off then burnt the root and you can't tell I ever had one there! It took ten minutes and that included the time it took the surgeon to talk me through it and for me to sign the paper for the local.

I’ve heard you can take a piece of your hair and tie it around the mole to restrict its blood flow. It will fall off in a few days.

I had two myself, all they did was spray it with a freeze spray and before I knew he had even started he had finished, it is best to have them looked at, the may be "active". by which I mean malignant, not wanting to cause you concern, do not accept any old Grannie cures, get the courage to go to the Doctors
