The job i work at just had there yard dog die. She died in the warehouse laying on a pillow. She did not get hit or anything, but when the animal control came and picked her remains up blood was coming from her mouth. Why is that?

Poisoning (Like Rat Poison) causes internal bleeding and it's not uncommon for blood to ooze from orifices.

I am sorry for your loss, loosing a pet, even if it was a yard dog at your job, is never easy.
When my Rotti passed in June, he did not have blood coming out of his mouth. That usually is a sign of trauma (IE hit by car), or poisoning. She may have also have had a seizure and bitten her tongue...if you are planning on getting another dog for the yard, I'd search the yard to make sure it was not poison.

There was internal bleeding. If she had no injury, she may have had cancer in one of her internal organs such as her lungs or her stomach. It is not normal for a dog to bleed from it's mouth if it is just "dying from old age". There was something causing internal bleeding and only an autopsy/necropsy could determine that.

If she died just from old age, that won't cause blood. She might have bitten her tongue, though. My Beagle got bit by a snake and blood came out of her mouth because she bit her tongue, but just from old age, no.

an inside infection, maybe worms or somthin
