I sometimes wonder why the christian faith, makes our life so dependent on a religious organisation instead of providing us a way of life ...? I know christians who don't feel good when they are not a member a member of christian religious organisation ...The christian faith seems to be like that ....it links our life to the religious organisation , we are a part of .... isn't that true that a christian can't live a joyful life without his religious organisation?

Why? Because religion isn't about God or a way of life anymore. It's about money and business. That is why I am a non-denominational Christian. I won't be part of any religion until I find one that isn't a money grubbing organization.

It's to keep you drinking the "kool aid" rather then thinking objectively and freely. If you have faith on you own and want to be around like others that's fine . However when these churches and organizations are more about money, growth, and control of their members lives look out!

Being a Christan is fine just don't be deluded by others or led by those that claim THEY truly know the bible. The big picture is what matters not some nut-job that claims they can decipher every verse and tie it all together. Just some thoughts _Good Luck

The True Christian Faith is not a "religion". It is indeed a way of life. God has instucted those of The True Faith not to forsake the gathering togeather. This dose not mean into groups controled by men and man invented doctrins and dogma... But to gather with The Faithful in study and fellowship and in remembrance of The One who's Sacrifice allows us to come to God.

As with any "gathering" there needs to be some "orginization" But that "orginization has no authority from God. It is a man invented necessaty to keep order...God dose give qualifications for good leadership...but not for "controle" or dictating ... if a facility for gathereing is to be maintained then there needs to be "orginization" for that as well... Also "orginization" is needed to maintain the many ministries which groups of believers carry out. Like helping the poor and others in need. hospitals, schools, missionary work, and on and on,,, "orginization" is a need in conducting business in this world...But... the "oprginization " must never impose on the relationship of God to the individual.

Well, speaking from personal experience - I used to think the "religious organization" wasn't necessary. I am a believer, but when I walked away from the church about ten years ago, I unknowingly started to drift away from the Lord. I started thinking, acting, talking, living pretty much like folks who aren't believers, and to be honest there wasn't any life in that.
Over time I became very hard-hearted, but I didn't recognize that since I wasn't around fellow-believers in a Word-based, Spirit-filled church.
It wasn't until I returned to the church in April of this year that I began to see how far I had drifted away and how messed up my life had become. So many problems I brought on myself, simply because I was living "worldly" instead of "Word-y".
It is crucial to stay in church! If you don't, it doesn't mean God won't love you - He already loves you, so going to church doesn't help Him. It helps us! And being with others who are like-minded and on fire for God definitely helps us stay sensitive to Him and helps us love Him more....
and THAT is how living well and living free is supposed to be.

And the church - just like the Bible and just like prayer - are the gifts God has given us to help us live in His very best. It is arrogance to think otherwise......

Guess that's why the Scripture says "Forsake not the assembling of yourselves together, as is the habit of some...."

God is supposed to be all that matters, we are his faithful servants. Nothing in this life time matters, it's just a blink of the eye compared to eternity with him. If we serve him, he will provide us with things we need.
