I've tried all the gadgets like patches, lozenges, etc. However, if I'm locked up in a 'clinic' for a month that might finally do it. Naturally activities would have to be provided since boredom breeds smoking.

I dont know of a clinic to quite smoking. However there are several websites that have gotten amazing results.

you just have to want it. that's it. i quit b/c i got my wisdom teeth out and I was on vicatin and sleeping for 5 days. But quitting for that first week doesn't matter if you dont' want to do it. You're going to be tempted every day, multiple times a day! Go read stuff about how damaging smoking is to your body, that might help get your will ready for the test.
