The fact that you are asking if it is wrong illustrates that you are a person with morals. Giving of your time and energy to help others is never wrong. You may find that although you have ulterior motives, you may enjoy it and see the value of giving. Won't be surprised if some of your career goals change!! Also keep in mind that sororities are ranked in the top 10% of giving organizations in the country. Go for it!!

It might surprise you, but many people start out doing a project for one reason and stay with it for other reasons. Many times the volunteer benefits more than recipients. I've been in both scenarios and its a blessing to be able to give.

Doesn't matter "why" you do it, as long as you are doing it with a smile. Sometimes you set out to serve with yourself in mind, and by the time you're done, the service has changed you and made you more compassionate toward others. Service is a great habit to get into!!

helping others is never wrong. besides, people can start out doing volunteer work for something like that and then realize how rewarding it is or that they like it and then start doing it even more for better reasons.

Helping others is never wrong, no matter what reason you have for getting into it. You will learn a lot and be a better person because of it.
