I have been in a relationship with my 15 month old's father for 3 years. It has been hectic to say the least. We continue to argue and fight but he continues to tell me he couldn't imagine himself with anyone else. For me actions speak louder then words and he doesn't act like that. We recently got into it pretty bad and it resulted in me having an eye injury. Though I know I provoked it by pushing him, he still wants to work it out and I don't know. He has another child and she doesn't speak to me. When I do things for her her mother tells her I am trying to buy her love so she won't use what I buy. No merry chirstmas, good morning or anything. My children don't treat him like that. We all live together and I don't like to come home. When the going gets rough he is there but just not consistently. Why does he want to work it out?

Get out of that relationship fast! I can tell you from what you have mention that this relationship is not healthy at all.Once you get in to a physical fighting you have cross the line and have no respect for him, you baby, and specially for your self. It does not matter if you provoked him there is no reason for a man to hit or hurt a women, since guys are allot more stronger than girls.Just think about the way your baby is going to grow up and what kind of sample your giving him.

cuz he's using u. a lot of women think, if he stays w/ me, there must be love or something there.

but no, a man who truly loves someone will treat her like a Queen. trust me... the minute he finds a woman he truly loves, he will roll over and bark for her. but everyone else, he will use, abuse, and treat like crap. that's why women should have expectations for how they want to be treated, so u don't waste ur time on those who are not Serious about u.

good luck, and find a man who will cherish and love u like u deserve

why would you stay in such a relationship. He's already hit you once (that you're admitting to) How many more times are you going to let that happen? Your kids are going to think that sort of behavior is 'normal'. Is that what you want?

Pray. Unfortunately, no person can help you, only GOD. He is waiting for you to seek HIM. The longer you wait, the longer you go through.
