The Answer given on Meditation is your best

choice. It is called "Mindfulness Meditation"

It is quite easy to learn. And only 15 min. a day

is required. It is very similiar to the mindfulness

of breathing. Mindfulness Meditation has been

proven to be Very Effective by Scientists,

Cognitive Behavioral Therapists, and Medical

Doctors in the U.S. and all around the world !!

Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn PhD is one of those leading

individuals who has proven Mindfulness Medita-

tion to be very effective. What are the results

AND benefits of the daily 15 min. a day of

Mindfulness Meditation ? It increases concen-

tration and focus, it increases a person's cogni-

tive thinking skills; makes one much more

observant, and objective; it erradicates/destroys

negative mental and emotion states such as

anger, impatience, irritability, hatred, and as

a result creates within us Patience, Understand

ing, Wisdom, Loving-kindness, Calmness,

and Peace.

There is nothing creepy or unusual about it.

Keep an open mind. It has already been proven

to work with all (and many more) of the results

mentioned above.

You can purchase Dr. Kabat-Zinn's book

"Coming to Our Senses" OR just simply do

a search on your computer on Mindfulness

Meditation.

Your do just fine. Be very Patient with yourself

and please always forgive yourself for any past

present or future mistakes you have or will ever

make. Take time alone for yourself to practice

15 min. a day to Mindfully Meditate. It is giving

the best gift you can possibly give back to

Yourself = which IS You !!

From an R.N. with a Master's Degree who

really cares about you.

But my source comes from Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn.

P.S. - And honestly, what is a mere 15 min. a

day, considering we all have an entire 24 hours

in a day ? It is worth it. Love yourself AND

others by doing this.

Happy New Year !!

Focus on one thing at a time. You have to focus all of your attention when you drive, or the result can be tragic. Don't let other people distract you and keep the radio off, until driving becomes second nature.

find a job that rewards book smart, but allows for absent-mindedness.

Go for a walk sometime and try to notice everything you see and comment to yourself on it. When you go for a walk, it's safer than driving, and you don't have to worry as much if you clumsily walk into a tree, because it won't hurt that bad.

Good luck.

You should tell your parents or see your doctor....This sounds like "Attention Deficit Disorder"...This is a mental condition that causes your mind to wander and you can't concentrate....I had this problem when I was in school over 30 years ago...They didn't have a name for this back then except "stupid"...I was afraid to say anything to anyone because I was embarrassed....This caused me to become painfully shy and a loner...
Now that they have a name for this condition, you can get the help that you need...Good luck!

i was the same way, then i learned to meditate. i dont mean constant stare-at-the-wall meditation, but minute to minute, pay attention to exactly what i am doing type of meditation, combind with deep awareness of breath. i gained focus, self awareness, began to pay attention to exactly what i was doing every second. if you seriously would like a little help on the subject, my profile is open for email and IM when i have it turned on. blessings, terryann.

If you stop thinking, all that vanished in say, those 5 seconds of silence, is what isn't real...

Are you truly ready to stop? You're in a virtual reality...

Search within for the part of you that won't stop... and you will stop.
