i need to make intresting pictures and am thinking about downloading photoshop does it cost anything????

yes, its quite expensive, but you can use Google's 'Picasa" (which is like Photoshop for dummies) and its free.

Yes Photoshop is expensive, there is cheaper version of it called Photoshop Elements that you can pick up for like £30-£80 depending if you get the newest version or an older version.
But if you want a FREE option the gimp is just like Photoshop you can download it here for free: http://www.gimp.org/

A full version of photoshop costs around $500 dollars to urchase. Photoshop elements, costs about half of that and should be all you need unless you're using it on a professional level.

Photoshop costs quite a bit (around $600), although if you're a student (or know someone who is) you can buy an educational version for much less. Yes, you can also download a crack version, but there's no guarantee it will be reliable.
Less expensive options:
-Print Shop pro, but my mom has it and I don't really love it.
-Corel Paint Pro (about $80)
-Photoshop elements (will help you fix up your photos, but not a lot of options for creating new stuff)

When I purchased Photoshop CS2 locally some time ago I paid $549. It lists at $649. Doing some price comparison should save you a bit.

Photoshop is one of the best programs for art and many other things. The price is different state by state, but it's usually near $130.00

It's a very expensive program. The lowest price that you'd be able to get it is probably around $150.
