Yes. After I became an atheist I know that I have a meaningful life to look forward to.

Back when I was a christian all I had to look forward to was being completely dependant on a man.

what, may I ask, is considered the cancer? Are there cancer types that, besides destruction, go out and live in jungles, war torn nations, extremely poor and desolate locations... giving aid, friendship, understanding, education, labor... to further a group that had no chance of their own? Do you do this?

My question to you is what is wrong with believing in the concepts in the bible? Love thy neighbor as thyself, turn the other cheek, judge not and yea shall not be judged, etc, etc. If someone believes in these concepts and follows them personally does this not make him a better human being?

It's like finally being rid of a horrible disease-- religion.

You are free to just exist. Live your life to the fullest without letting religion stop you and cloud your judgment.
