In my opinion it all changes at the stage of adolesence, where boys turn into men & girls have there 1st period & turn into women.

In short around 19 - 20 for boys. around 18 - 19 for girls, Isay this as ladies mature quicker than men, due to the pressures & stresses put upon a women in order to be able to care for her first child.

As i've just described this girl to women transition can happen at the time that a girl becomes pregnant.
or
It can happen when a girl becomes mentally mature enough to hold a conversation without over smirking at everything she sees.

So in second thoughts the ages i specify can be variable according to the individule.

would "she"ask a similiar question as to when: she believes parents are ready to have a baby together????
what would the parents need? & how old ideally do they have 2 be??
If "she" or somebodyelse DOES NOT I think i might do.

Like a man, a woman is responsible. She knows how to take care of herself and others (without being codependent). She has a mind of her own and doesn't do things based on what everyone else thinks, but she considers their counsel and comes to her own conclusions. A woman is strong and does not need to impress people. She has a basic idea of what her values are and tries to live by them.

A girl is irresponsible. She's constantly upset when other people don't give her what she wants. She needs other people to wait on her and do things for her. While a woman might CHOOSE to allow people to do things for her, a girl NEEDS (or think she needs) others to, because she feels incapable and dependent. She expects society to dictate how she dresses, is supposed to feel, who looks better to date, etc. Her identity is shaky and her values are based more on what other people think is right. She is weak, gives in to peer pressure, and flaunts her body to get attention.

While it's always good to maintain a sense of girlish/boyish curiosity/innocence, it's also good to try to develop into a responsible woman/man.

i would say a girl is someone who does not understand her limitations, nor her abilities. she will not be capable of taking care of herself fully, she is completely dependent on someone else. she is not able to see the full picture of reality, becuase her idealisms are so close to her heart. naivete and innocence is good, but not if it is easily taken advantage of.

i think a woman is someone who understands exactly what she is capable of, what she can handle, what she can depend on for others, and what she needs to depend on Herself for. she will know when to take charge, when to let others take charge, and do it gracefully, not alienating anyone intentionally. she will do what is best for herself as well as those around her, and understand that sometimes sacrifice is needed in order to keep things in order. she also knows when to speak out about problems, and how to make things better.

i guess the whole difference is maturity, and being able to focus on how to be a Good Woman. a girl doesn't have that necessity in her life, it is more about learning of the world to help her become a good woman.

A woman goes through with her resposibilites. Not immature(to a degree). She knows whats important to her and makes sure she can do the right things to keep that close to her.

Girls are alittle more like kids. Play around, not to many worries. Go with the crowd. cant trust them sometimes.

By virtue of the fact you are asking the question, you're a girl...

Experience, wisdom, confidence, sense of presense, probably cover the major components of what makes a woman.

She takes care of herself
She can wait if she wants
She's ahead of her time
And she never gives out
And she never gives in
She just changes her mind...

That's the what makes a woman a woman, and no longer a girl ...

A woman must not giggle, or laugh of every other sentence she says, or hears. The narcissist in me says that a true woman must still look great in over square shorts. Excused if over 40 and her name isn't Elizabeth Hurley http://us.movies1.yimg.com/movies.yahoo.com/images/he/photo/movie_pix/cannes/cannes_2003_photos/elizabeth_hurley/cannes7.jpg
Still no giggling, please.
