I'm not really sure I have tried the tourmaline and did not like for my hair I like the 100% solid ceramic better.

Ceramic is better for your hair and is more expensive than Tourmaline which is like teflon!

um..im not positive n the exact difference but i use ceramic and my hair dressers always tell me to get ceramic cuz they straighten better and are less likely to burn your hair

Good Question. I am not sure, but I want to recommend 2 straightners to you a Hai and a Chi. Both are expensive. However, you will get the best straightner ever. You wont be disappointer

Ceramic is better it damages your hair less!
