There are people that live in the hospital because their kidneys need to be cleaned 3 times a day. Their bodies are monitored every minute. They are weak all the time, but sometimes, they feel OK? There are several kidney dysfunctions, one of them is uremia and this usually leads to dialysis, a process of "cleansing" the kidneys. This is needed to excrete metabolic waste products from the body. In time kidney transplant has to be done to prolong life.
