where can i get information on Canadian Scams ?

on December 20th,2006, I recieved in the mail a letter and a check to do with a sweepstake that i entered in 2005. I called the bank it was drawn on they said it was good. Well with me not having an account, my sister deposited it in her account. Well After spending some of it ,we found out that it's a scam.

Contact Phone Busters 1-888-495-8501 this is a combination of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police working with the American Police to put a stop to these scams. This is a well known scam. You may also wish to contact your Canadian Better Business Bureau
