why does this country bash the us troops in iraq? This country should support our troops to keep the moral up. When family members see thing it does go back to the troops in iraq. Support our troops the soldiers have no chioce were they go. If one cuts down anybody about the american soldiers they need to look in a mirror and get a good look at themselves first. If i hurt some ones feeling than thats tuff luck. To find out just what a soldiers life is really like than join the service and try it, you just might like it. The reason why i can say this i was in the ARMY and in the first persion gulf war. So in sort if you dont like whats going on than go to a differnent country and try living there. God bless our troops and god be with them.

This country is not bashing the troops. People are merely voicing their dissatisfaction with president Bush's decission to declare war on Iraq because they feel it was a self-serving decision & they were not the real enemy of our country. He should have gone after Bin Laden instead.

I know of no one who bashes the troops.

I will, however, continue to bash the freaks who sent them into danger for no good reason.

Those scum (not the troops, those who sent them there) should face trial for crimes against humanity.

The troops are victims.

Most of them signed up to defend this country and provide services during natural disasters.

They've been betrayed.

The only troops I've ever talked dirt about are those who committed torture and other criminal acts (relatively few of all troops).

I've never heard anyone else bash the troops, either. That's a myth.

Realizing this war was a grotesque mistake is not the same as bashing the poor souls forced to fight it.

As a veteran of the Army who served two tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom, THANK YOU!!!! You understand that we're just doing our jobs and want the opportunity to do them well and until completion. People who want us to come home now, as well as the politicians who can't make up their minds, just don't understand the disservice they do by not letting us do what we know we can do. We're the best trained, best equipt military in the world.

God bless you and your family.

thank you for the support - its very important that military families do get this support. to be truthful, i have not seen too many bashing our troops.

those people need to move to Iraq if you ask me... even if its just for a day. they have NO clue... they have been too spoiled imo.

We don't "bash" out troops.

We give daily thanks that they are prepared to put themselves in harms way so that we can be safe. All they ask is that we don't put them in harms way unnecessarily.

We're "bashing" the leaders of the US and the UK who put our brave soldiers in harms way for no reason, other than perhaps oil and some wierd political ideology (google "Project for a New Americal Century" to find out more).

Yes, when they see all they negativity about the job they are doing, or their parents report all the negative things said about the war, it does bring down morale. People just will never understand that until they walk a mile in those military boots!
