I'm sure someone could live off of a purely liquid diet, but it is not something I would recommend. All of the food groups need to be introduced into one's diet to ensure proper metabolic function and overall health. Liquids as an absolute limit the ability to consume adequate amounts of protein, complex carbohydrates, and many vitamins and minerals found only in certain foods.

No. That is not possible. You could not get enough nutrients out of liquids alone to survive. Even with the most nutritious shakes there would be a lot of necessary nutrients and calories missing from your diet.

You would rapidly lose too much weight and get quite sick.

Take care,
Troy

A person can't live without food for more than two weeks, and liquid for more than three days. But the shakes have some sort of food in them, so I'm sure that you could if you drank them.

We sailed the north seas, and there were times we went for days on end with liquid foods, as we were in too much rough weather to serve in the mess. I became appreciative of solid food. Yes when necessary, and no if not.

in case you had different techniques of having hydrated and fed, i'm uncertain how long you may final. yet once you have been held captive (or something like that) devoid of nutrition, or water, you are able to in simple terms anticipate approximately 3 days. it truly is the rule of three's: 3 minutes devoid of air 3 day devoid of water 3 weeks devoid of nutrition Now, that would not prepare to anybody, besides the undeniable fact that that's a generalization. =)

What do you think a baby consumes until he/she can chew and swallow solid food?

You would find a liquid diet boring but you could certainly live on one.

In theory, it's possible. But it's not really advisable, and your system does need some bulk so it will function properly.
