Iraq pumps 2 million barrels a day, give or take. Oil sells for $60 a barrel or something like that. That's 120 million $ a day, every day. Even by national standards, that's a fair chunk of change. Where is it all disappearing to? Where is the public accounting for that kept? How come nobody looks into it?

I don't know, but it seems like several somebodies must be laughing a lot.

You are a Moron. Do you not realize we are at war? Bush is not making a dime. Be thankful our volunteer Warriors are fighting overseas rather than here in the USA.

War costs big bucks and lives. Been there, done that. Do some research on the hardships of Americans during World War Two and thank all those who did the job. Otherwise you would be speaking German or Japanese now and would have nowhere near the freedom you have. Granted, the US is not perfect, but it's the best place in the world to live and raise a family. If you don't believe that, pack up and get the hell out.

Nancy,

You need to grow up some and study more about US government policies. Impeachment is not a practical way to get anyone out of office and besides even though I don't like nor did I vote for Bush, I can't see where he has a completely bad job while he has been in office. You need to stop and think about what you are asking about something you know nothing about before you ask it.

I am sure our goverment has top secret information, that if released would scare the crap out of you basically. I dont think our troops are in Iraq for *nothing.*

Years from now the truth will come out on whats really going on.

If you detest our president, why don't you find another government to live under?

Its sickening for me (an army wife) to see posts like this. Do you think ONE MAN made the decision alone to go to Iraq? Do you think ONE MAN alone has thousands upon thousands of troops at his command without a good cause? I am sure there are other things going on that we just dont understand.

While, I understand you are trying to help our troops by making statements like this - it really doesnt. It only hurts their families.

My husband is a wonderful man, and I would like to continue to believe that he is over in a war torn country for a good cause. My guts feel like they have been ripped out with him away from us. My children and I are saddened by him being gone. I stay up with worry every night. My children have nightmares, I have nightmares...

One thing I would like to hang on to is his presence in Iraq is to help the people.

You have no idea how many good things our troops have been able to do for some of the people over there.

You only hear the negitive news... and, I blame that on our media.

What about the positive things? What about the lives our soldiers have actually saved, what about the things our troops give to the people of Iraq? What about the things that the people of Iraq deserve and have been isolated from? Things like clean water, school supplies, medicine, food, clothings, shoes, basic needs - things that we here in America think are petty things...

Do you actually think it will help if we just leave now?

It would only get worse. It would bring the war to America, on our soil. It would allow the terrorists and the bad guys to plot more against America and the freedom we stand for!

President Bush is in a hard position. I may not like everything he does, however- he is our President, I respect him and his decision. I will stand behind him, and behind our troops.

No he is not laughing as our troops die. People like you should not even ask questions like this or even be in this country. The troops may not want to be there but some one like you sure don't help them in keeping there moral up or there spirits up. In short live with it or leave .

So who exactly is paying him? These people are a lot smarter than I am sure you will give them credit for. They could make more money in the private sector than in any elected government position. Working in the government is a paycut comparatively.

I am so sick of this ignorant dogma. "Yeah they're doing it to get rich on oil." If they wanted to get rich on oil; they would go work for the oil companies.

Because he is not in touch with ordinary people. He and his staff are in a world of their own. This guy should have never been voted into office for the second time. I hope the people who voted for him are happy when they read the paper every morning and see how many of our young people have died for a war that we can never win !!!!

More ignorant and baseless uber-liberal rhetoric....

How many times will ignorant uber-libs bring up this silly impeachment crapola??? Look up what impeachment is and how it works.

And show any link that Bush is profiting off of the military action in Iraq. We'll be waiting.... waiting a LONG time for you to provide one
