I hope it is not, and I hope INS catches up to him soon.

at worst he'll get a fine, or just escorted onto an outbound plane if he has money. Hawaii is a US state. He technically isn't supposed to go there. Domestic flights may not check your visa, but you will need some kind of ID. You could definitly take a small boat and never have to talk to anybody. An airport may refuse you travel but i don't think they will arrest an illegal immigrant.

Yes, it is safe for American citizen's if he travels, and gets picked up, and arrested on charges of breaking immigration laws. Hawaii is America, too, ya know. Let him travel, and be DEPORTED! I am sick and tired of the illegals thinking they can walk all over the USA, after we have granted them a visa, to better themselves, then turn right around and break our laws! I would not like it if this JOKER buddy of yours were to ever become an American. He's already shown disrespect for this country, by not following our rules. And you, you have the responsibility to report him, yet you did not, that makes you as bad as he. Shame on you!

he doen't need any documents besides his Driver's license for ticket if he flies non stop flight from US to US teritory. If he has a conecting flights somewhere in the middle and this is not a US teritory he's can't do that and he will need a passport. Now, in his shoes, i would not risk it as stuff happens and he might get cought. So basically he'd better get some leagal status before he travels. if he really wants to go - he's going on his own risk.

What do you mean by "safe"?

It sounds as if you acknowledge he's a criminal and are asking if his criminal activity will be detected, causing his arrest, if he tries to fly to Hawaii.

I'm asking because when non-criminals think of "safe" travel we are hoping the plane will arrive safely.

yea , It should be no problem to travel to Hawaii. However , when he gets there better watch out for "Dog the bounty hunter" . That dude is bad and he means business.

Usually, its “safe” to travel in the U.S. if this person has a valid state issued identification. If this person does not have valid, non-expired “state” or official identification, it’s not a good idea.

I would be concerned with the identification he will have to provide when he checks in. If asked for his passport, then he will have some problems. He might end up on a flight to another destination.

Don't see why not. Ask an illegal from Mexico. They manage to break all of the immigration laws with no consequences.

The more popular this question becomes, the less chance you will have of your friend being safe.
