Having your heart broken hurts like there is know tomorrow....But to break a persons heart and to see the pain in their eyes is the most terrible thing in the world.If you didn't mean to break their heart and it was a result of your own stupidity then seeing their pain really will change your life.It will rip out your insides and tare apart your soul.This is your punishment.Everytime you look into their eyes you will be reminded of their pain.Breaking some ones heart is by far the worst to inflict pain in this way is cruel.

heartbroken is an awful experience, because it leaves you feeling like you are at fault. Like something is wrong with you. But when you break someone's heart, you don't have any clue of what feelings you are putting on the heart of the person you are breaking. You couldn't possibly know that after you broke their heart, they cry every night and every day, they think of what they could've done right. Trust me being heartbroken is much worst, it's like, you are dying from a disease that might never be cured.

Being broken hearted is always more personal. But knowing that you are breaking someones heart can be a sad moment also.
Depends on the strength of the love at the time of the breaking.

oh my goodness.. to be heartbroken is the worst. because u lose a lot of hope, confidence, faith, trust, love, and self when ur heart is broken. u feel useless, and defenseless, alone....
when u break someone's heart, it is a different sadness.. more of guilt, possibly pity, but not complete utter loss of self: i mean, the reason u are breaking someone's heart is to continue your sense of self, for whatever reason u think u Have to do it. u choose to break someone's heart (somewhat)... u don't usually choose to get ur heart broken (at least, not directly)

Heartbroken definitely.. when you break someones heart you are in control and feel bad for a short time. to have your heart broken you have no control and the feeling of pain lasts much longer and seems like it will never heal. I try not to cry cos its over but smile cos it happened................

If you are asking this because you cannot decide whether to "stay with the one who loves you or go to the one you love" then it makes a really big difference as to the answer.
You are not helping anyone out by staying in a relationship you are not being true to. You have only one life to live and if it is in your heart to be with the one you love, then you must do so no matter the heartbreak you will cause. It will be done whether it is now or later and later is always worse.
Mind you however, what goes around....comes around.

Neither, the guilt that comes with breaking someones heart is horrible and to be heartbroken is also distressing.

to break sum1s heart. havin ur heart broken is 1 of the worst things u can experiance, but thru experiance u gain knowledge, and u will be a lot wiser the next time round, and more likely 2 find happiness.
