i'm looking for mark schemes for PHY 1 - 4 papers...Any websites you know which have them available to download for free?

I don't know about getting them free, but Edexcel sell old exam papers for a pound or two each. Go here:

When I worked in an FE College, we would sometimes copy old exam papers for the students - it might be worth asking at your local college.

As you describe it, your thumb is pointing left and your first finger is pointing down. You 2d finger would then be pointing in course of you, sitting on the centre of the circle.
