Questions like this imply that Jehovah's Witnesses are interested in becoming popular, but that is simply not true. The ONLY opinions of ongoing interest to a true Witness are those of Jehovah and Christ Jesus. Those who work to ingratiate themselves with some human or human group are not doing God's will.
(1 Thessalonians 2:4) We speak, as pleasing, not men, but God, who makes proof of our hearts.
(Matthew 6:20,21) Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven... For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
Jehovah's Witnesses have the true religion. They are Christian (of course), but they are unique for their rejection of paganisms, use of God's personal name, and global preaching by every active adherent. No other religious organization can claim such purity of worship.
These facts about Jehovah's Witnesses are perhaps relevant to this question. The more one compares this Christian religion with others, the more remarkable it is shown to be.
1. Jehovah's Witnesses have no paid clergy. Yet they remain tightly organized with more than 6.5 million active Jehovah's Witness preachers (about 16 million associate themselves with the religion). Even fulltime preachers and workers at their branch offices are unpaid volunteers.
2. There is no elite class among Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the few 'anointed' among them enjoy no special privileges in their congregations on earth. An anointed person (one of those relative few with a heavenly hope) is not elevated above his fellow congregants in any way, and he may not even qualify for appointment as a simple 'deacon' or elder. There are no titles; EVERYONE is addressed as 'brother' or 'sister'.
3. No person benefits economically from the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the 8 to 20 men who serve on their Governing Body receive simply room, board, medical care, and reimbursement for certain personal expenses according to the exact same provision as every other branch volunteer.
4. About a hundred men have served on Jehovah's Witnesses' Governing Body committee during the past 125 years or so. The vast majority of them have spent the vast majority of their adult lives volunteering for their organization's purposes, and the vast majority have died faithfully and near-pennilessly while still under their legal 'vow of poverty'.
5. Amazingly, Jehovah's Witnesses did not splinter as a sect from some other religion. Instead, a truly tiny but sincere group of bible students studied only the Scriptures to determine the will of God. Thus their religion remains absolutely independent of and not carrying the sins of Christendom's history, yet carries the authority of Christ's teachings.
6. Despite the distortions of anti-Witnesses, throughout their modern history Jehovah's Witnesses have refused to claim divine inspiration or infallibility for their teachings. They have pointed to the bible (and not any particular translation) as the only inspired infallible means of knowing God's thoughts. For over 125 years, their teachings have been presented as merely the results of sincere bible research by imperfect but godly humans.

How many of you would like to learn about them???
In the year 2006, quite a few wanted to learn about Jehovah.
Last year 2006, 248,327 became Jehovah's Witnesses and everyone of these had to change their minds pertaining to the false teachings that they had been taught, these were people that used their own Bible, King James, etc., 28,915 were from the United States.
99,000 Congregations worldwide.
During the service year, 2,340 Kingdom Halls were completed around the world. This represents an average of 195 halls per month, or just over 6 per day! Since November 1999 when the construction program in lands with limited resources began, 11,700 Kingdom Halls have been built. As of right now, 40 Kingdom Halls are being build each week of the year. In many areas, once a hall is finished, meeting attendance soars and halls are soon filled to capacity.

Sometimes i think that out of all the Christian sects, the Jehovah's Witnesses have it more right or correct than any other sect in Christianity. I am Muslim and it seems we share some similar views. We also do not celebrate any Holidays nor do we believe that Christ (peace be upon him) had any divinity. Don't get me wrong, there are some big differences though, we don't believe that Christ (peace be upon him) is the SON of Allah, only one of the greatest Prophets. at least we can come to a common ground and say there is only 1 Creator. I enjoy learning about different faiths, we must all be diplomatic and learn to live amongst eachother in peace.

I have spent considerable time with JW's.
Though I believe they are passionately deluded many are nice people.
It's a shame the absurdity of their believes is so well indoctrinated that they cannot even consider that JW.org is so flawed. Obviously if they did there would be a chink in their armour or a gap in their defenses through which light might shine.
I pray for them!

nicely the comparable way that we've a private call and could opt to be noted as by our call extremely of guy, lady, Boy & so forth is the comparable way that God feels. Psalms eighty 3:18 says "would human beings understand which you, whose call is Jehovah,You on my own are the main extreme over all the earth." the fact that his call is suggested contained in the Bible shows God needs his call to be regularly occurring & for the reason that we are his witnesses or followers, we are noted as Jehovah's Witnesses.

No Michael Jackson is not a Jehovah's Witnesses.
I love Jehovah's Witnesses all 6.5 million of them.
No they are not a cult. That's an old wives tale. The only man they follow is Jesus Christ. I don't understand why people think they don't accept Jesus? Because they don't celebrate x-mas???? If you ever talk to a Witness, you would know that they totally belief in Jesus that he is the Messiah and that because of him all humans have a hope for the future. No one is going to burn in hell!
The next time one comes to your door. Why not listen or ask questions. Study the bible with them. Then if you don't agree, it's because you have look into it, not because of something someone said, to someone else, who said it to you....

I love my brothers and sisters who are Christian Witnesses of Jehovah, and will be happy to help any learn who have that desire.
Rather than denying Christ, we are the ones who attempt to actually follow his directions.
Michael Jackson WAS once one of Jehovah's Witnesses, but he no longer one of us.
These responses that contain hatefulness and lies about us makes me think of such Scriptures as Matthew 5:11 & Acts 28:22.

Love them? Yeah, same as I love all people. But I've already learned about their beliefs, if that's what you mean. And by the way, the most accurate name we have for God is YHVH (or Yahweh), not Jehovah.

Jw's don't follow Jesus in spirit, they follow literature written by men, men Jesus warned against, Jesus called them scribes and Pharisees. And that those men load the people down with unbearable weights,
