The infection from the pimple has spread. He needs antibiotics.

You need to take him to a doctor. This could be what is known as an abscess or cellulitis from the pimple. Whenever there is swelling its definately needs to be check out by a physician. He might have to be put on antibiotics if an infection is present. Error on the safe side...see the doc

If he tried to squeeze the pimple, then it's possible that staph got into the wound and he has an infection which need antibiotics, time to take him to a doctor.

Hoping its not a Tick inside his nose. See a doctor quick! Benadryl may ease some of the sypmtons, then again thats for allergic reations and allergies.
Put a cool/cold compress on it, not directly. Don't freezebrain the kid!

Could be a staph infection. He needs to see a doc like right now so that it does not become worse.
