Where does caffeine come from?

I just wanted to know if caffeine was made by man or if it comes from any plant. And please tell me what plant it comes from.

caffeine is a natural substance found in some things, like coffee beans. caffeine isn't added to coffee, cuz u can eat coffee beans and get hyper. but caffeine can be extracted and added to things like soda or caffeine pills

Caffeine comes from coffee and sugar. Caffeine comes from sugar cane.
