I dont' blame God for bad things. Most of the bad things that happened to me were either things I could have prevented, or out of my control. IT's useless to blame God for my misfortunes when I turn to Him to help me out of them. And yes, when good things happen to me,I praise God.

i think subconsciously i DO blame God at first. but He always shows me WHY He let that bad thing happen, and it really does end up being for the best. and yes, i DO give Him praise when He makes the good things happen.

It says that when King David heard that his son had been killed that he went and worshiped God. It says the same in Job.

My best friend just died a little over a week ago from cancer. And one of the last words she said was, "I still believe."

Scripture says to put on the armor of God so that in the evil day having done all to stand you stand. So bad things do happen but what the enemy is after is your faith. Will you trust God? A man will sell all he has to save his own life. Well, our life is no longer our own. We are in Christ.

I don't try to comprehend things too high for me. I simply trust God. He gives me the oil of joy for mourning. He is my strength and He gives me perfect peace.

I miss my sister in the Lord but I'm so happy she's with Jesus.

It's a peace that passes all understanding and it's for whosoever.

I don't blame anyone unless they were directly involved in causing the incident. There are no 'bad' things. Only opprotunities to learn a lesson. When my congressman was accused of sending email to pages I learned never to trust a politician. When I got sick, I learned to take better care of myself. When my grandfather died I learend how strong our family is. Same thing with good things. There are lessons to be learned in everything. No need to blame or thank god for anything.

Okay. Why don't you guys get this? It's YOUR dogma, for crying out loud.

Let me walk you through this one more time.

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Supposedly God created EVERYTHING, including evil.
Supposedly, also, God KNOWS everything, correct?

So when your life starts getting crappy, why doesn't God step in and help?

Some of you apologists are going to pull the Devil card on me and say that "he's the ruler of this world", etc., "fallen world we are living in", etc.
That's all fine and dandy. But don't tell me in the next breath that it's his fault... God created Satan, didn't he? Surely he would know that his Creation would 'fall', right?

When bad things happen, if God exists, we can conclude that he is, at the very least, an incompetent deity.

I neither credit or blame god for anything.

Neither. Good things and bad things are a result of karma (action). We can only thank or blame ourselves for our actions.

No - they PRAISE him when good things happen and blame the devil when bad things happen. God, apparently, doesnt do bad things....

If only they could learn to take responsibility for their own actions, they'd note how less bad things happen to them...
