I'm not sure of the legality, but just be careful , as it may be dangerous.

I've done it. Trust me it's dangerous. Especially if you don't have good brakes or worst, a good bike. But if you wanna do it don't ride in the middle of the road.

usually bicycles are not allowed on major highways (like the interstate), only on routes with traffic lights or designated bike paths.

ive done it myself. not safe or legal. i only go for one exit. avoid it if you can. plus the wind really kills and it is so hard to pedal.
