Most design golf courses (Nicklaus, Palmer, Weiskopf to name a few).
Some become TV analysts and put down the guys who used to beat them week in and week out. (Johnny Miller, etc.). Actually, some become good golf analysts (people other than Johnny Miller).
So I would say that most pros stay around the business of golf in some capacity.

If it was a good professional golfer that made millions then they probably have investments to manage or business ventures to maintain.
Any other pro will probably be a trainer, instructor, and/or club pro.

They want to spend the rest of their lives around golf, so they build courses and give lessons there and make HUGE dollars.
