Jan. 7 is the Orthodox Christmas. Jan.6 is the Christian Epiphany.

Epiphany - the last of the 12 days of Christmas. The day the Magi visited Jesus.

It's called Christmas. Sometimes it is referred to as "Russian Christmas" because so many of the orthodox Christians belong to the Russian Orthodox church.
