I have this problem whereby I tend to get sleepy in classes and lose concentration and not even alert! How can I conserve or make my body awake for the 10 hours of school per day ? And how can one motivate themselves to do self-study?

Taking care of your physical self will help immensely. Eat 3 healthy meals plus snacks when needed, and get exercise - at least a brisk walk every day; you will have a lot more energy. Write down your goals and commit yourself to studying so you can acheive them, talk to people who have already attained your goals and ask them how they got there.

2. This is what i always do: Think that after you take all those classes you're going home and you're going to be free.

3. Try to listen to the teacher: maybe something that she/he does would make you laugh or maybe the teacher might say something interesting....

4. NEVER EVER put your head down: It WILL make you get more bored and more sleepy.

5. If you have questions about what the teacher is saying: ask them first,don't let the teacher ask YOU first....

6. And I'm sure you might have known that this one was coming: GET SOME SLEEP... You're a student and you need to have a "ready-to-go mind".. By any circumstances don't go to sleep too late....

10 hours of school per day??? Give me a clue, where are you and how old are you.

Lots of caffeine would be my suggestion. Need more info about your schedule. Physical activity between classes, a quick walk or something.
