I lived in Buenos Aires over the summer and it's not breathtaking but I do recommend spending a little time there! The Recolleta cemetary is interesting to see, as well as some of the buildings. I'm more of an outdoorsy girl so I preferred the south in Patagonia. There is a little town called Calafate that you can rent a car or take a bus to the Puerto Moreno glacier which is amazingly beautiful! From there you can take an early morning bus to El Chalten and see Mt. Fitz Roy and do some hiking (nothing too strenous). Ushuaia is touted as the southernmost city in the world and is one of my favorite places in Argentina. It's this little seaport that hosts penguins and sea lions and also the best place to stay for Tierra de Fuego. That park will absolutely blow you away!!! I've heard Bariloche is really touristy ski-town much like any of the towns in Colorado so I stayed away. However I've heard great things about Salta and Mendoza! Iguazu Falls is something I really wish I could have seen but I didn't have the time. Have fun!

Buenos Aires, the vibrant capital (and do take a quick trip from there to enchanting Uruguay), Tierra del Fuego (a chance to nip briefly over to Chile for penguins and spectacular glaciers) and Patagonia, with its rich wildlife. If that doesn't blow you away, then there's something wrong!
