If you're using Windows XP and using the CD Burning Wizard, make sure that you clicked on the balloon in the system tray that says "you have files waiting to be written."

If you click on that it should've brought you to a new window. Click on "Write these files to CD" and follow the prompts. Also what I found is that if you change the label it doesn't work sometimes.

I had the same thing happen with burning DVDs I had a spindle of 100 and they all were duds called the company and they were suppose to send me new ones never got them I think it was just a bad batch. try a different brand and see if it burns then you can jump on the band wagon and get these companies from selling us crap.

in example ... in nero a cd burn application , there is a option to simulate the burning process

this will doo everything as it would doo by burning ... but it will not burn the CD

so if it is something like this search the option to simulate burning
and deactivate it

after try again

hope this helps you to get forward ;)
