As other answers have stated, it appears to have Chihuahua, or Basenji, or Jack Russel Terrier in the background. However, there is no way to be sure. The sire could have been a mix. While there are people who create names for crossbreds, they are not really a breed. For example, mine is a mix of a Great Dane and a German Shepherd, but it isn't a breed, it is a cross bred.

A breed of dog is one which is recognized by a "reliable" registration organization. This means that they have tracked and recorded that breed for a number of generations and have been able to breed true to its breed description. They will also have a "parent club" of members dedicated to that particular breed.

There is nothing wrong with cross bred dogs, we have many in our training classes, but they are not a specific breed.

SomeAnswer mentioned that their friend got a puggle and paid a lot of money for it. That is really a shame. Those selling such mixes because they are in are cheating the public. All types of crosses (including these mention) can be found at your local humane society and can be purchased for around $100 including all medical chaecks, all shots, plus a microchip.

maximum folk merely assume that each and all and sundry canines are blended with some thing else, and that the canines is blended with between the main difficulty-loose breeds of canines of their community. They infrequently difficulty to make the attempt to observe diffused adjustments of the form of the pinnacle, muzzle, nostril, tail thickness, fur textures etc... in many circumstances in basic terms people who've a profession working with canines ((like a groomer or a breeder)) can accurately wager the breeds. In the two case if the canines relatively is blended with some thing, the only real thank you to tell what the canines is is the two if the mum and dad are purebred of their separate species or in case you get a blood attempt. extremely some canines do seem exceedingly comparable, noticeably those interior the comparable classification. Like how brown Australian shepherds generally get blended up with generic collies. extremely some the canines's i've got had the place lab or lab mixes, so i've got infrequently had the subject of somebody mistaking the breed of my canines for some thing extra difficulty-loose as there is not often any breed extra difficulty-loose then lab. however I even have had a border collie/German shepherd combination that extremely some human beings saved attempting to tell me had lab and doberman in, whilst he did no longer. I additionally at the instant have a large dane/ bull canines mutt that all and sundry calls a lab/pit combination.

Your puppy is absolutely adorable!!!!!

I think he is a mix of a Chihuahua, from the colouring! Although I have seen a mix of a Pug / Jack Russell and he looks a little similar to that too!

Good Luck!

A Pug/Chi mix is my best bet.
He definitely has a lot of Pug in him, but also a bit of Chi as well.
You should make a dogster.com page of him. It is free and fun, and he is soooooo cute that everyone should see him!
