They split up because he cheated on her,,now he just can't let her go. She is a sweet heart and doesn't want to hurt him and tell him to get lost but his constant adoration over her is driving me nuts. Why can't he just move on?

He obviously wants to get back with her, and is willing to go to any lengths to do it.
If it makes you uncomfortable, talk to your girl and let her know that you don't like him talking to you. If she really cares about your relationship, she'll cut ties with the ex.

I have the same situation I have an ex who won't leave me alone. I have the worst time telling him I don't want him in my life but I just can't dare to say it to him.
My BF gets really upset that my ex is still after me. I truly feel that her ex wants to be with her again or wants a lil action on the side.
You should seriously talk to you girl and tell her that the relationship with her ex is making you feel uncomfortable.

I think that he may feel sorry that he left her in the first place and that another man has his good thing.. well What WAS his good thing because now she is your girlfriend... he may just feel dumb and if he keeps being around he might try to win her back...because me may realize his mistake... but good luck.
I also think that you should have a talk with her.. try to be calm though so she wont feel as if she is being attacked... but you can also suggest that you can tell him for her... I mean if she doesnt want to... but then again maybe she likes the attention..

He knows what he had with her and knows what he's lost, trust me this guy is bad news cz he knows what he can get away with and he knows that she is really nice maybe passive at times so the best thing to do is tell her to stop all communication w/ him because even though they are broken up to him he still has his foot in the door. Tell her she is hurting him and your relationship.

Your real problem is not him...it is your girlfriend! It is up to her to tell her ex that she is no longer interested...that she has a new love. But she isn't doing that. She is enjoying his attentions. She needs to decide whether she wants to stay with you...or go back to her cheating ex...she can't have both of you! Good luck...
